Thar: KKF, MQM establish relief camps
The patients were provided free of cost treatment and medicines
THARPARKAR (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF), for the famine-struck people of Tharparkar, established a medical camp and a relief camp in Chahchro and Mithi on Tuesday.
On the third day of relief activities for famine-struck Thar, the KKF established camps which will treat patients suffering from various diseases due to the famine in the area.
The relief camps have doctors and paramedical staff to take care of patients who range in age from children to senior citizens, both men and women.
The patients were provided free of cost treatment and medicines. The doctors also advised the patients important safety measures that they should take to keep them from getting sick.
Dry milk, potable water, water cooler and other necessities of life were also distributed among dozens of deserving families.
