Couple burnt alive in Kot Radha Kishan over minor dispute
CM Punjab makes 3-member committee to probe the incident, 48 people have been arrested so far
KASOOR: (Dunya News) – A couple in Kot Radha Kishan, Kasoor, was set on fire over a minor incident of laying sand on the grave, Dunya News reported. Police registered the case and arrested 48 people. Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has also set up a 3-member committee to probe the incident.
Shahzad and his wife Shama were laborers in Chak 59 village near Kot Radha Kishan. Both were set on fire by an angry mob on a minor conflict.
Police has registered the case against 400 unknown people while raids are being made to catch more. CM Punjab has demanded the inquiry report of the incident and has formed a 3-member committee to fix the responsibility and take strictest action against the culprits.
