Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani met with the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to discuss issues of mutual interest.Prime Minister (PM) said President Obamas speech clarified the misconceptions relating to Pakistans nuclear programme. He said that international community would accept Pakistan as a responsible nuclear state with the passage of time. PM was addressing a news conference after nuclear summit where he said that Pak-US relations have changed. PM said that US is willing to help Pakistan on energy sector however he added that Pakistan is demanding for trade instead of aid. PM said Pakistan attached the highest importance to the security of its nuclear material and had put in place multi-layered mechanisms and processes. 'The democratic government in Pakistan is fully committed to ensuring nuclear security', Prime Minister Gilani said. 'More than ever before, our two nations need to hold a sustained dialogue to address all issues', he said.PM also held separate meetings with Chinese President Hu Jintao and Indian Premier Manmohan Singh to discuss bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.
