The federal government has sent a letter to the Swiss government regarding reopening of closed cases against President Zardari, Dunya News reported on Wednesday. NAB said that orders of the Supreme Court would be implemented in letter and spirit. NAB spokesman told Dunya News that a special meeting of the NAB was held on the direction of the SC and after detailed consultation, the officials sent letter to Swiss government to reopen cases against President Zardari. According to the spokesman, it is requested in the letter that NAB wanted legal cooperation from Swiss government regarding cases against President Zardari. After reopening the cases, legal action would be taken. The spokesman said that as per NRO decision, action would also be taken against former Attorney General Malik Qayyum. The Supreme Court yesterday had given 24 hours time to reopen Swiss cases while acting upon the NRO decision.
