Summary Writing slogans on notes makes them worthless, he said.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed while commenting upon PAT chief Tahirul Qadri’s slogan writing campaign via currency notes, said that it’s a waste of people’s money because no form of writing is acceptable on currency notes under law.
Rasheed further said that such notes with additional writings are considered as illegitimate and fake, which cannot even be presented to the bank, making them merely a piece of paper. He added that it is a crime to write on currency notes, and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri should withdraw his own money, to be used for writing slogans.
