Polling for two provincial assembly seats in Gujrat and Dera Ismael Khan (DI Khan) by-polls is underway, Dunya News reported on Wednesday. PML-N candidate Haji Imran Zafar is facing PML-Qs candidate Mian Imran Masood in PP-111 Gujrat, along with 29 other contestants. PPP supports PML-N candidate while JUI backs Q Leagues candidate in PP-111 Gujrat. At least 163,672 votes are registered in PP-111. In PF-65 DI Khan, allied parties PPP candidate Samiullah Zai and JUI candidate Maulana Lutfur Rehman are facing each other. After firing and grenade attack at election office of Maulana Lutfur Rehman in this constituency, all polling stations were declared sensitive. At least, 112 polling stations have been set up in Gujrat. This seat was declared vacant after the death of PPP parliamentarian Latifullah Ali Zai. At least 80,000 votes are registered in this constituency.
