Karachi Accountability Court acquitted Local Bodies Minister Agha Siraj Durrani in a NAB reference, Dunya News reported today.Talking to media, Durrani said, I was implicated in fake cases during the previous regime as I refused to yield to the dictatorial pressures. In 1995, Durrani was accused of handing over Rs400million to a furniture contractor sans the supply of furniture to government schools.In 2002, the Accountability Court sentenced both the culprits 5-year term.Sindh High Court directed the AC to reopen the case on Agha Siraj Durranis appeal.
