Summary 'Revolution March' will be held after avenging martyrs' blood: Dr. Qadri

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Muhammad Tahirul Qadri has announced to observe ‘Martyrs Day’ on August 10. While addressing the General Council today (Sunday), along with the leader of allied parties, in Model Town, Lahore Dr. Tahirul Qadri heavily criticized the government but did not announce the date of ‘revolution march’.

It was expected that the date for ‘revolution march’ would be announced today but the fiery speaker avoided giving the date. Instead he announced to observe ‘Martyrs Day’ on August 10. Dr. Qadri assured that the revolution march will also be held but only after avenging the blood of martyrs who lost their lives in Model Town Incident.

PAT chief said that Koran will be recited daily at Minhajul Quran International (MQI) Secretariat in Model Town from August 4 to 9 in the memory of Model Town Incident. He assured that the ‘Martyrs Day’ will be observed peacefully.

He warned the government not to attack the attendants on Martyrs Day. He said that if the government attacks the workers than situation may go out of control.

Tahirul Qadri asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to decide between them whether provincial government would be the first to go or the federal.
