Summary Shahbaz Sharif emphasized on following strict rules in regard to the exhibition of arms.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A high level meeting was presided over by Shahbaz Sharif to discuss the law and order situation of Punjab, today. Provincial Law Minister Rana Mashood Ahmad, Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz, Special Assistant Rana Maqbool, Chief Secretary, Inspector General Police, Interior Secretary and other relevant officials were all a part of the meeting.
Mian Shahbaz Sharif advised all necessary measures be taken to ensure the security of life and property of the citizens. He emphasized that special attention should be given to all vulnerable places including the mosques, Imam Bargahs shopping malls, plazas markets and other Eid gatherings and additional security should also be deployed at each of these places.
CM Punjab advised that police officials must stay in the field to scrutinize the security measures being taken whereas implementation of the security plan must also be ensured. He further ordered all relevant departments to fulfil their duties following effective coordination. CM pressed upon to follow strict rules in regard to the exhibition of arms.
