1 die, 13 injure as result of explosion in Quetta market
The device was planted underneath a sewerage line and was detonated through time device
QUETTA (Dunya News) – At least one person was killed, while another thirteen were injured as result of explosion in Quetta’s Qandhar Bazaar, Dunya News reported.
The rescue teams and heavy contingents of police reached the occasion after the news of the explosion surfaced. The rescue workers moved the injured persons to the Civil Hospital through ambulances where they are being given the medical care.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigation Aitzaz Goraiya, the explosives weighing half kilogram were used for the attack.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the explosives were planted underneath the sewerage line and were detonated through a time device.
