President Asif Ali Zardari signed the seventh National Finance Commission Award at the Presidency. The President declared it a victory and a win-win situation for all four provinces and all the political parties in the country. President termed the seventh NFC award as financial autonomy for the provinces and added that the needs and requirements of the provinces have been recognized. President Zardari said that the seventh NFC award is a reward for democracy in country. The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, members of the federal cabinet, the four governors, Chief Ministers along with the members of the Parliament. NWFP is to receive Rs.110 billion as hydel power profits, which would be paid in installments.
