It was decided in PPPs core committee meeting that at the start of third parliamentary year, President Asif Ali Zardari will address a joint session of Parliament on 20th March.The meeting which was chaired by President Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani, also decided that 18th amendment of constitution will be approved before the speech of President at joint session of Parliament. According to sources, the meeting also agreed upon making Senator Raza Rabbani as the adviser to Prime Minister. Some views were also exchanged regarding Presidents address at joint session of Parliament. This would be Presidents third address to the joint session of Parliament since he became the President. The sources also claim that once the 18th amendment is approved, President Zardari will address the public in seven cities including Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar and Rawalpindi. President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Senator Rehman Malik, Syed Khurshid Shah along with eminent PPP members participated in this meeting.
