Three killed, 26 injured in Khuzdar blast
It was a remote-controlled bomb blast, police said.
KHUZDAR (Web Desk) – A bomb explosion near a vehicle of the security forces killed three people and injured 26 others in Balochistan’s volatile Khuzdar district, Dunya News reported.
The explosion took place on Jinnah Road in Khuzdar Bazaar.
According to witnesses, the blast occurred when a vehicle of the security forces passed by the area while a large number of people were busy in Ramzan shopping.
Resultantly, three people died on the spot and 26 others including four security personnel sustained injuries. The injured were rushed to the Civil Hospital Khuzdar for medical treatment.
A remote-controlled bomb was installed in a motorcycle parked on the roadside, police said.
Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel and police cordoned off the site and launched operation in the area to arrest the culprits.
