Power outages resume across country

Demand in power increased the shortfall around 2600megawatts, which resulted into loadshedding upto 6 to 8 across the country.According to Ministry of Water and Power, change in weather rose demand in power to 13,096megawatts, 10,0411MW.He added that due to fall in supply of furnace oil, the power outages would be increased, whereas the Rental Power Plants (RPPs) project has been closed for the last 5 months.
