ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Jamat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed said on Saturday that the operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorists in North Waziristan is successfully ongoing, adding that Pakistan’s conditions will be different after the operation. He said the leader who will unite the nation will ultimately be the winner in war against terrorism, Dunya News reported.
Talking on the occasion of Iftar dinner held in honour of journalists, he said that the operation Zarb-e-Azb is extremely important and that it will have long lasting impact on the internal and external security of the country.
He said that the war that began from this region thirteen years ago is about to end.
JuD chief also heavily criticized India-America relations, saying that the Hindus tried to benefit from the conflict in this region.
He said that over twenty five thousand Indian army men entered Afghanistan last year, adding that America has put India on the western side of Pakistan to take revenge.
Answering a question, Hafiz Saeed said that Taliban are engaging in Jihad against America in Afghanistan and that Pakistan Army is also engaged in Jihad for protection of Pakistan’s borders.
