LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PMLQ) chief Chaudhry Shujaat said on Sunday that the attitude of current rulers is rebellious. Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed said that his party will take to streets if aims are not achieved through proper channel, adding that there will be ‘Damadum Mast Qalandar’ after Ramazan, Dunya News reported.
Addressing Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) led All Parties Conference (APC) over Model Town tragedy, Chaudhry Shujaat said the example of intolerance was set in the tragedy, adding that the government’s ‘mutiny’ has to be stopped.
He demanded Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to resign and join the investigation.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) also rejected judicial commission. Its leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi alleged that Model Town tragedy took place on directions of Punjab Chief Minister.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that innocent people were killed under government’s supervision, adding that MQM believes in the change of system more than the change of government.
