Election campaign ends in Punjab and Balochistan

The election campaign for by-elections being held in Lahores constituency NA-123, Jhangs PP-82, Bahwalnagars PP-284 and Jaffarabads PB-25 has come to an end.The candidates contesting for Lahores NA-123 include PML-Ns Pervez Malik, PTIs Mian Hamid Mairaj, and JUIs Hafiz Salman Butt, along with 50 more participating candidates. Where as the election campaign for Punjab Assemblys 2 seats and Baluchistan Assemblys 1 seat has ended. After the Lahore blast which took place yesterday, heavy contingents of police and other law enforcement agencies have also been deployed in polling stations and election offices in the constituencies.
