ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that Pakistan Awmi Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri will not bring revolution but wants to spread anarchy in the country.

In a statement, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said at a time when armed forces are engaged in operation against terrorists in North Waziristan, the lives of the masses should not be put at stake by resorting to protests.

He said it is high time for the political parties to alleviate the sufferings of the Internally Displaced Persons and not to provide any opportunity to the terrorists carry out any act of terrorism.

He said the demands of Tahirul Qadri are just to attract the attention of the media.

Meanwhile, Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique says Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Tahirul Qadri is staging a drama to spread anarchy in the country.

He said the government has never created hurdles in the ways of demonstrations and sit-ins by the political parties. If Tahirul Qadri wants to do politics he should go to the people for vote.

He said workers of PAT tried to destroy the peace of Islamabad.

He said Lahore incident was the result of provocative speeches of Tahirul Qadri.

Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan said today's actions of Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Dr Tahir- ul-Qadri have brought a bad name to Pakistan at world level.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore, he said Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri should also enquire after the health of police personnel attacked by his followers outside Islamabad Airport and Rawalpindi this morning.

Rana Mashood said this is time to help the displaced people of North Waziristan, express solidarity with the armed forces and not launch agitations.
