Summary Says the federal government is responsible for providing security to airports across the country.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Opposition leader in the National Assembly Khurshid Shah has said that the PPP will not become a part of any undemocratic move.

Talking to media on the sidelines of Family Expo function at the Expo centre here on Sunday, Shah said Pakistan Peoples Party will always stand with the democratic forces for strengthening democracy in the country. He said we have to move forward untidily to overcome the challenges being faced by the country.

The opposition leader said that that the government would not try to arrest Tahirul Qadri or Shaikh Rasheed.

Khurshid Shah said the federal and Sindh governments should provide security to the installations. He said that the Karachi airport attack was quite shocking, but there was no two-opinion about it that the responsibility of the airport security rested with the federal government.
