Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri laid to rest
Baloch nationalist leader had passed away on Tuesday.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Senior Baloch leader Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri was laid to rest at Shuhuda Cemetery after the funeral prayer was offered at Hazarganji New Kahan area amid strict security, Dunya News reported.
Prominent Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri passed away on Tuesday after ailing condition. Political leaders said, while talking on the occasion, that Marri was a prominent leader of Balochistan who fought for the rights of his people.
Marri spent most of his life in prison and exile. He was also a member of National Assembly at one time.
Nawab Marri was 86-year-old and spent his whole life for Balochistan politics. Despite his nationalistic beliefs, he is said to have been influenced of Marxist viewpoint.
