KARACHI (Dunya News) – A rally to protest against sectarian targeted killing was organized by Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) in Karachi on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
The rally started at Numaish area and ended at Supreme Court Registry due to the closure of roads leading to the Chief Minister House. The participants have staged a sit-in protest outside the Supreme Court Registry which is still continued.
The rally was against the sectarian targeted killing, lack of arrests and government’s alleged insensitivity. The rally dubbed ‘Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS) March’ was led by Allama Amin Shaheedi and Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi.

The participants walked towards the Supreme Court Karachi Registry because the roads leading to Chief Minister House were closed.
MWM leaders said while addressing the participants of the rally that Karachi has become a safe haven for terrorists, adding that youngsters, doctors and other professionals are killed after getting handpicked.
They said that despite all the violent attempts, the government and law enforcement has been acting as silent spectators.
They said that today’s rally is just a beginning and that if the series of murder is not stopped and murderers are not arrested then MWM will march to Islamabad.
