ISLAMABAD (Online): JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that Islam teaches peace, tolerance and respect for human life.
Addressing a tribal jirga and reference in memory of Malik Qadir Khan Shaheed in Peshawar on Friday, he said we want to resolve all issues through dialogue.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said shedding blood of innocent people is against Islam and humanity. He said western forces are bent upon hatching conspiracies against our religion and civilization.
Speaking on the occasion, the Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq said no place, including hujra and masjid, is safe from terrorism. He said protection of life and property is the responsibility of government.
Sirajul Haq said that there is no university and medical college in FATA. The militant tendencies can be overcome through promotion of education in FATA.
He said the nation should extend full support and cooperation to the tribal people.
