Election Commission has reserved the decision on reference against eligibility of President Zardari. Chief Election Commissioner Hamid Ali said that reference against Chairman Senate or Speaker only can send reference against President and member parliament. Chief Election Comissioner heard the reference against President Zardari in Islamabad. He said that if President Zardari was convicted then court verdict should be presented. Petitioner Maulvi Iqbal maintained that NAB has concealed all proofs of Presidents conviction so for the Supreme Court ordered the government to fire Chairman NAB and Prosecutor General. He maintained that Election Commission is bound to follow the SC decision on NRO.
