Govt decreases diesel price by Rs 4.51, petrol 34 paisas
Finance Ministry approved a minor reduction of 34 paisa per litre in the price of petrol.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Finance Ministry on Wednesday approved reduction in prices of all petroleum products from May 1, Dunya News reported.
Ogra had suggested a minor reduction of 34 paisa per litre in the price of petrol. The petrol price would come down from the exiting Rs108.31 to Rs107.97 per litre.
The price of high speed diesel would reduce from the existing Rs113.85 to Rs109.34 per litre after a reasonable reduction of Rs4.51 per litre.
The price of light diesel oil would come down to Rs94.13 from Rs95.06 with a reduction of 93 paisa per litre.
The price of kerosene will drop by Rs3.08 to Rs98.34 per litre and the price of high octane blending component (HOBC) will decrease to Rs133.08 form Rs134.63 per litre with the reduction of Rs1.94.
New prices of petroleum products will be applicable from May 1.
