Karachi violence claims 6 more lives

At least six people were killed in acts of violence in different parts of Karachi on Friday.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least six people, including a doctor, were killed in firing incidents in Karachi on Friday.

According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire in Nazimabad area and killed a man and wounded another. The deceased was identified as Dr Ikram.

Some armed persons, riding a car, opened fire in Sakhi Hassan and Gulbahar and shot dead three people who were going to offer Jumma prayers. Two of the deceased were members of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat. On the other hand, police have recovered a dead body from Sheerin Jinnah Colony while a man received bullet wounds when some unidentified persons opened fire in Baldia town.

Meanwhile, Rangers arrested six people during raids in different parts of the city.
