Musharraf's farmhouse's security tightened
Barbed wires have been installed at the roads that lead to Chak Shahzad.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Security outside former president Pervez Musharraf’s farmhouse has been tightened following the fruit market terrorist attack that took place in capital Islamabad, Dunya News reported.
According to reports, the increased security includes barbed wires and cement blocks.
The security of other important buildings in federal capital has also been tightened.
Musharraf’s farmhouse in Chak Shahzad is surrounded with barbed wires and cement blocks and contingents of police and rangers have also been raised.

Dunya News’s sources say that intelligence agencies had issued an alert with regards to former president’s security.
Federal police also raised security of parliament house, lodges, ministers’ enclave and Supreme Court.
Intel about Islamabad blast:
Earlier, it was reported that Interior Ministry and intelligence agencies had issued security alert for twin cities and Lahore prior to the fruit market blast in Islamabad.
According to sources, the Intel agencies warned that groups opposing Taliban dialogue may attempt to disturb law and order to exert pressure on government.
However, the police failed to ensure security despite several alerts, the sources added.
They further said that the overall security wasn't satisfactory due to the delay in appointment of DG National Crisis Management Cell and IG Islamabad police.
On the other hand, it was revealed that highly explosive material RDX was used in the fruit market blast. The investigation is underway while police hasn't reached any conclusion as yet.
It is important to mention that at least 26 people were killed while over 90 others injured in a blast at fruit market in Islamabad on Wednesday.
