PML-N lawyers' wing VP shot dead in Karachi
The lawyers' fraternity boycotted court proceedings following the killing of advocate Syed Waqar.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The vice president of PML-N’s lawyers’ wing Syed Waqar Shah was killed in a firing incident in Karachi on Thursday.
According to details, unidentified gunmen opened firing on a car in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, killing advocate Syed Waqar Shah on spot.
The police collected seven shells of 9MM pistol from the site. According to witnesses, four armed men attacked the vehicle of Syed Waqar.
Following the news, the lawyers’ fraternity boycotted court proceedings in the troubled metropolis.
On the other hand, funeral prayers for three students who were earlier shot dead in Gulshan-e-Johar have been offered.
Furthermore, CID police arrested 15 accused during targeted operation. Huge cache of arms was also confiscated from the arrested.
