Rawalpindi: Holbrooke calls on COAS

The US Special Representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Holbrooke called on the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani at the army head quarters in Rawalpindi.The meeting focused on the security situation prevailing in region and the progress made against the war on terror. The future strategy of war on terror was also discussed during the meeting.General Kayani briefed Holbrooke about the ongoing operation against militants in Waziristan.
