HYDERABAD (Web Desk) - Jiye Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) leader Maqsood Qureshi and his associate Salman Wadood were found dead in a burned car, Dunya News reported on Friday.

Tension gripped the area after the burnt vehicle was discovered with two charred bodies on Bhiria road near Naushahro Feroze.

According to reports, armed men took to the streets and resorted to aerial firing, forcing closure of business activities in different areas of interior Sindh.

JSQM workers protested in different areas including Hyderabad, Larkana, Khairpur and other small districts of the province.

Maqsood Qureshi was brother of late JSQM chief Bashir Qureshi who died in Sakrand, Nawabshah in 2012.
