KARACHI (Dunya News) – Expressing his views over the Taliban's demand for a suitable place to hold peace talks, former interior minister Rehman Malik said that the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is a terrorist organization and they should be put behind bars.
Addressing the media at Karachi airport, Rehman Malik said that he had no doubt over the intentions of the current PML-N-led government, however, the TTP had been breaking agreements with the government , he added.
PPP leader also said that the Taliban deserved to be in jails and they should also be beaten up in police station.
Commenting on a question over Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, he said any aid from KSA should not be criticized, adding that no step against the sovereignty of Pakistan should be taken.
