Summary Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will reach Karachi on one day official visit today.
ISLAMABAD (Online): Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif will reach Karachi today (Friday) on one day official visit, whilst he has also summoned a high-level meeting to review the situation of the metropolis.
According to details, PM Nawaz Sharif will reach Karachi today along with the Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. The Prime Minister will chair a high-level meeting, which will be attended by the chiefs of law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and intelligence officials.
PM Nawaz will be briefed about the ongoing targeted operations in the metropolis and the recent incidents of violence in Lyari that had claimed some 14 lives yesterday.
It was further reported that a new strategy regarding the Karachi Operation will also be discussed at the meeting and the ongoing operations will also be analyzed.
Moreover, the report about yesterday's Lyari clash between two confronting groups of mobsters, will also be discussed during the meeting, which was compiled by the DG Rangers.
