WASHINGTON (Web Desk) - Pakistan has reaffirmed desire to resolve all outstanding disputes with India‚ including core issue of Jammu and Kashmir‚ through a meaningful dialogue.

While speaking at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, Pakistan Ambassador to US Jalil Abbas Jilani said all outstanding disputes between India and Pakistan should be resolved through dialogues.

Ambassador Jilani also expressed satisfaction over Pakistan-US relations. He emphasized the need to effectively address the irritants like unilateral US drone strikes.

Earlier‚ Ambassador Jilani had a meeting with Senator Joe Manchin from West Virginia in Washington and discussed bilateral relations.

Matters of mutual interest‚ including peace and stability in Afghanistan‚ were also discussed.

Both the sides agreed to work closely for smooth and orderly withdrawal of the US forces from Afghanistan.

Senator Manchin assured Ambassador Jilani of continued cooperation to Pakistan in meeting its energy challenges.
