KARACHI (Dunya News) – Firing between two groups at Lyari area resulted in killing of 2 persons and injury of another two minors. Counter operation carried out jointly by Police and Rangers destroy base of gang-war suspects, Dunya News reported.
Security institutions finally carried out an operation against wanted suspect Asif Niazi. Police and Rangers also targeted suspects’ bases and hideouts and destroyed them.
The crime bases also included torture cells where opponents were chained down and tortured.
Earlier, firing between two gang-war groups in the area injured two children who were rushed to the hospital.
Tension in the area inflicted a sense of fear among the locals; traders, businessmen and shopkeepers were forced to halt business activities.
