Cabinets Economic Coordination Committee has put the condition of availability of ID card on purchase of sugar from the Utility Stores.Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin presided over the Committees meeting.According to participants, the condition has been imposed to make the buying of the commodity from the Utility Stores transparent.The Committee has also approved to provide 160million cubic feet gas to Pak Arab Fertilizers, besides directing the Ministry of Petroleum to revisit the gas tariff. The committee has also planned to give the contract of Liquefied Petroleum Gas to French Company.
