Lahore High Court has allowed Dr Qadeer Khan to meet his friends and family members and issued a notice to the federal government on an application submitted by Dr Qadeer in the above said case.Justice Ijaz Chaudhry heard the case.Dr Qadeers counsel Ali Zafar argued that even the atomic energy scientists were not allowed to meet with the atomic Dr AQ Khan, which was against the accord with the government.Justice Ijaz Chaudhry has said that under the deal, Dr AQ could not be stopped form consulting his physician, adding that he should be allowed to meet with his friends and family members. The court has also summoned the Deputy Attorney General on February 19 to present before the court after consulting the federal government in this regard.
