Governor Punjab Salman Taseer condemned the assassination attempt on Sheikh Rasheed. Governor said that the law of the jungle is prevailing in Punjab and no one is safe here. In a statement Governor claimed law and order situation is very poor in Punjab.Governor Taseer also said that leave the common man even the political leaders are not safe now. He said that the attack on Sheikh Rasheed was pre-planned and no force supporting democracy would favor this.
