Former ANP President Ajmal Khattak passes away

Veteran Politician and Leader Ajmal Khattak passed away after a protracted illness. President and Prime Minister expressed condolences over his death.Khattak was born in 1950. He completed his Masters in Pashto and Persian from Peshawar University. Government awarded Sitra-e-Imitiaz to Khattak. Ajmal Khattak was twice elected as the president of the Awami National Party.Khattak was not only a veteran politician but also a journalist and writer. Khattak also authored 16 books in Pashto and Urdu. His funeral would be held at 3:00 PM.PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, Governor Sindh Ishrat Abad, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah, CM Pumjab Shahbaz Sharif, MQM leader Altaf Hussain and others expressed their condolences and regret over his death.
