Summary Constitution is not un-Islamic, nor does it contradict with Shariah, he said.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News): Addressing a press conference, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) leader said that the constitution accepts the supremacy of God, therefore terming it un-Islamic puts a question mark on struggle of twenty two learned scholars.
Kifayatullah feared that military activities might change the map of the country and that the military operation threatens national security.
JUI-F leader further said that people are already faced with a lot of problems and the country cannot afford a military operation. There should be no operation against those who carry Pakistani identity cards, he demanded.
Earlier, Maulana Abdul Aziz of Taliban committee had distanced himself from the negotiations process saying holding the negotiations within the limits of constitution poses a problem since those with whom the government wants to negotiate do not recognize the constitution.
