Summary
The military parade on 23rd of March known as Pakistan day has been cancelled. According to sources, more than one hundred thousand military troops are engaged in operation against militants in Swat and Wazirstan, whereas, security situation of the country is also under serious threat. Under these circumstances the annual parade to be held on Pakistan Day would not take place. The last Pakistan day parade was held in 2007 amid extraordinary security in the sports complex of Islamabad.
