Sindh Assembly adopts resolution banning wall chalking

Summary Sindh Assembly on Monday passed a bill under which wall chalking has been banned.

KARACHI (Online): The Sindh Assembly unanimously passed a bill at its session in Karachi on Monday under which wall chalking‚ poster and banner affixing at others’ properties without any permission has been banned.

Talking in the Sindh Assembly meeting, Senior Sindh Minister for Education Nisar Ahmed Khuhro said that there is a complete ban on transfers, postings and deputation of the teachers in the Sindh Education Department.

Khoro said that teachers’ performance would be seen and no ghost teacher would be there in the province.

He promised strict measures to curb the trend of cheating in examinations and urged the students to take interest in education.

The house will now meet today (Tuesday).
