At least 27 people were killed while more than 150 others injured in two bomb blasts in Karachi.In first blast, a suicide bomber blew himself up in a bus near a nursery at Shara-e-Faisal killing 12 people.A second blast near the emergency ward of Jinnah Hospital Karachi where the injured were being shifted. At least 15 people have been killed in this blast. CCPO Karachi Waseem Ahmed told the reporters that the explosion occurred when a motorcyclist rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into a bus carrying the mourners.Resultantly, a man died while several others injured.The explosion was so powerful that it was heard many kilometers away from the site; clouds of smoke engulfed the area. Law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area, while rescue efforts were also kicked off and the injured were being shifted to the hospitals.A third bomb was found in Jinnah Hospital but the bomb disposal squad defused the bomb before it could cause any damage.Meanwhile, the President and Prime Minister strongly condemned the nasty terrorist activity and issued directives to provide best possible treatment to the injured.Interior Minister Zulfiqar Mirza sought blast report from CCPO Karachi.MQM has announced three days of mourning across Karachi.
