Summary Taliban spokesperson said the country is being pushed to another war.
PESHAWAR: (Dunya News) – Spokesperson of banned outfit Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has said in a statement on Sunday that they once again offer ‘serious’ and ‘meaningful’ dialogue to the government. It is government’s job to pave way for the dialogue process, spokesperson said adding that TTP is always ready for ‘meaningful, strong and serious’ negotiations.
Spokesman Shahidullah Shahid said that the country is being pushed to another war and that TTP has always responded positively to all delegates including Maulana Samiul Haq who have approached TTP.
Shahid also claimed that the state media has been doing baseless propaganda against negotiations.
It’s pertinent to mention here that TTP came out with the stance of negotiations last week claiming the government has been lying to the nation.
The government and the security forces had resolved to negotiate with those who are willing, and carry out an operation against those who continue to carry terrorist attacks.
