Summary Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has declared three days of mourning for the victims of the blast.

Quetta (Web Desk) - The protesters carrying coffins of 28 victims of Tuesday's blast began a sit-in on Alamdar Road in the provincial capital, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

At least 28 pilgrims returning from Iran were killed and 40 others wounded when a bomb hit a bus in the southwest Pakistan province of Balochistan.

The attack took place at Dringhar village on the Pakistan-Iran highway some 60 kilometres (37 miles) west of Quetta, Balochistan's capital.

Identity of 26 victims has been confirmed so far, sources told.

Meanwhile, Hazara Democratic Party has announced shutter-down strike in the city. Markets are closed in Hazara Town, Ali Abad and Alamdar Road.

M.A and MSC examinations at Balochistan University have also been postponed.

Balochistan has been badly hit by a decade-long separatist insurgency and sectarian violence.

Two huge bomb attacks in Quetta in January and February last year targeting the Hazara ethnic community killed nearly 200 people.
