Lahore: Prominent writer Asghar Nadeem Syed injured in firing
Syed was passing before the Shoukat Khanum Hospital when some bike riders opened fire on his car.
LAHORE (Dunya News) Famous writer Asghar Nadeem Syed has been injured in a firing incident in Lahore on Tuesday.
According to initial reports, two unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on his car near Shaukat Khanam Hospital in JoharTown.
Asghar Nadeem Sayeed himself telephoned the Rescue teams and informed about his situation.
Syed was shifted to a private hospital for treatment as he was suffered two bullets wounds.
Asghar has written famous television drama serials such as Hawaian, Chand Grehan, Nijat, Ghulam Gardish and Piyaas. He is very popular amongst his colleagues, and his work is considered to be exceptionally good.
