Summary At least five people, including two women, were killed in acts of violence in Karachi.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Target killing continues in Karachi as five more people were shot dead in city on Saturday.

According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire at a car at Shahra-e-Faisal and shot dead a man named Shoaib and injured another man.

Some unidentified miscreants also shot deat Dr Pishap near Lee Market while a woman was killed and 13 people sustained injuries in firing and a grenade attack in Lyari.

Police have also recovered a dead body from Khada Market in Lyari while a woman was shot dead in Sea Area of Liaquatabad.

On the other hand, Rangers and police launched a joint operation in different parts of Lyari and arrested 14 accused of gang war. According to police, four Kalashnikovs and pistols were recovered from the arrested persons.

In a separate development, Rangers have arrested three accused, including an alleged target killer, during a raid in 400 Quarters area.

Meanwhile, an accused was killed during a police encounter in Korangi Industrial Area while two of his accomplices were arrested.
