Nawabshah: Teacher, 16 schoolchildren die in road mishap
18 children were reportedly in the bus at the time of the accident.
NAWABSHAH (Dunya News) - At least 17 people including a teacher and 16 schoolchildren lost their lives in a road accident in Nawabshah on Wednesday.
According to police, a truck collided with a school bus on Qazi Ahmed Link Road, killing 16 children while injuring 25 others.
The Edhi sources said the school bus was dropping kids to their home when the accident occurred.
The dead and the injured were shifted to nearby hospital while an investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, emergency has been declared in all hospitals of the district.
Around 18 children were reportedly in the bus at the time of the accident.
