Summary Sarwat Ijaz Qadri says no one will be allowed to divide Pakistan.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sunni Tehreek on Sunday held Janisaran-e Mustafa Conference at Nishtar Park here on Sunday. A large number of Ulema and Mashaikh from different Sunni organizations participated in the conference.

Addressing the gathering chief of Sunni Tehreek Sarwat Ijaz Qadri said that the government was afraid of the terrorists and wanted to hold talks with them. He said the NATO forces would themselves quit if the country was cleared of the terrorists.

Qadri said that the Sunni Tehreek would leave no stone unturned to make Pakistan a welfare state. He announced to support strike of Awami Tehreek on January 6.

The Sunni Tereek leader said that no one would be allowed to hatch conspiracy against Pakistan and creation of new East Pakistan would not be allowed.

Senior Vice President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan Maulana Owais Noorani said that any change in blasphemy law would not be allowed.

The participants of the conference paid tribute to the martyrs of Nishtar Park tragedy and vowed to save country at any cost.

The Sunni Tehreek announced to support the strike of Awami Tehreek on January6.

Awami Tehreek on Friday announced to observe strike against the statement of MQM chief Altaf Hussain who demanded sepaparate province for the Urdu speaking population of Sindh.

However, Altaf Hussain, on Sunday clarified in his speech that his statement was misquoted.

Addressing the party gathering at Aladin Park in Karachi via telephone from London, the MQM chief proposed the formation of 'Sindh 1' for the populace considered as Sindhi by PPP and 'Sindh 2' for rest of the province where people belonging to other ethnicities reside.

Altaf Hussain said he never intended to divide Sindh as Sindh is motherland and motherland cannot be divided. "If Sindh government considers us equal citizens then the quota system should be abolished," he demanded.
