Summary Two brothers were among seven people killed in different shooting incidents.

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Nine people including two brothers have been killed in shooting incidents in different areas of the troubled metropolis, Dunya News reported on Saturday.

Last night, unknown gunmen opened fire on a juice shop near Maskan Chowrangi in Gulshan Iqbal area. As a result, shop owner Hussain Ali and two workers Abdul Wahid and Nadir Ali were killed on the spot.

Two employees of a nearby super store were also injured in the incident. They were identified as Jawad and Riaz.

Police claimed that the group involved in the attack was targeting Maskan Chowrangi and the adjacent areas, and the shopkeepers were instructed to close their shops at midnight.

Separately, two brothers were gunned down near Moti Mahal area of Gulshan Iqbal. The victims were identified as Sajid and Abid.

In protest against the incident, angry mob took to the streets and blocked the main road.

Another person was killed near Indus Plaza in Sohrab Goth area while a body of a person identified as Munir was found near Bismillah Chowk in Baldia Town.

Meanwhile, Rangers personnel conducted raids in Maskan Chowrangi, Gulshan Iqbal and Sohrab Goth. Seven suspects were arrested in the operation and heavy arms were recovered from their possession.
