Polling is underway for by-polls in constituency NA-21 Mansehra 2, and constituency of Provincial Assembly PF-83 in Swat, while the women are barred from casting vote in Swat, Dunya news reported today.In constituency NA-21 Mansehra Tahir Ali candidate of Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N), Salahauddin of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Zargul of Pakistan Muslim League-Q are running for victory. The seat got vacant after the demise of Muhammad Khan. In constituency PF-83 Swat 4 Rehmat Ali Khan (ANP), Jurat Khan (PML-Q), Hussain Kanju from Jamaat Islami, Sher Muhammad Khan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and independent candidate Muhammad Khan are in run.this seat fell vacant after killing of Dr Shamsher Khan in a suicide blast.Here all the political parties unanimously banned women from voting. A PML-N member got injured in a clash at Jallo polling station whereas some enraged people assailed Captain Safdars car in which his driver got severe injured.
