LHC adjourns case against Khalid Mirza till Feb 12

Lahore High Court has deferred the hearing of contempt of court case against Competitive Commission Chairman Kahlid Mirza till February 12 besides restricting him from airing his views on media vis--vis the issue.Mirza has fined a sum of Rs400million on the companies for increasing the LPG prices on their own.The companies, however, got stay order from the court but Mirza issued an order for fine recovery notwithstanding the court orders.On this, the court took suo moto notice terming it a contempt of court on Mirzas part.
